Blue Skies!

The apple crates have arrived..........they started like this and I decided to give them a makeover.....

I love this colour, blue skies, it reminds me that summer is on the way, the other box has turned out ot be a rather limey green!
So what am I going to do with them?

Most of the glass I sell is clear, pressed glass so I hope that this fabulous blue will show the glass off and make it look fabulous.  I am planning a stall makeover this week so we'll see how it goes.

Going, going gone!

Look what I picked up at the auction.

and look what's going on my stall
vintage pressed glass
I love a trip to my local auction as much for the people watching as the bargains to be found.  I was lucky this time and won the lot that I wanted.  My last auction visit was not so successful, I bid on lot No. 6 when I should have actually bid on lot No. 9!  I did remedy the situation by approaching the carboot man who had won the lot that I wanted.  After he had bid on his remaining lots, had a sausage sandwich followed by a fag outside and finally paid for his lots I swoped lots of 'TAT' for a beautiful Vintage glass cake stand!  All this lovely treasure will be on my stall this week - hope to see you there!

What do you think?

Hope you all had a fab weekend in the sunshine.
Thought you might like to have a little glimpse of my stall at the Cornhall.  I definately need to work on my photographic skills but hopefully you get the picture!

Newby!

Hello
I'm so pleased that you decided to drop by.  I am new to blogging although I have been following several for a few years now - some of whom will be surprised to see this as they know I haven't even mastered texting yet!  I have decided to embark on a new venture or adventure whichever way you choose to view it.  I am a 43 year old mum of 2 girls and have begun a small business making and selling things I love.  I have a real passion for vintage pressed glass, so that has formed the foundation of my efforts.  I have dabbled as a seller in the past with mixed results, but having lost my job last year I am putting all my energy and enthusiasm into this.  So far I love it I have a regular stall at the Cornhall in Cirencester every Wednesday and even have a few regulars - FAB!  I am hoping to share my journey and hope that you will join me?
